What is PAC?
Public Art Chippenham (PAC) are a local charity run by a group of local artists and community members, with the aim of enhancing public spaces in the town with vibrant art projects for the enjoyment of all residents and visitors in Chippenham.
Who are PAC?
Public Art Chippenham is supported by a large group of local residents giving up their time to help, but the charity is run by 4 trustees. Find out more about the trustee's below:
Chris Lambert
Chris grew up in Chippenham, attending Sheldon school, and he now runs a business in the heart of the community. With a passion for creativity, he’s made it his mission to bring more colour and vibrancy to the town centre, having witnessed first-hand its gradual decline over the past few decades - PAC is just one part of that journey.
An amateur artist known as @doodlecrease, Chris is passionate about public art. He’s been involved in street art festivals in both Bristol and Swindon, and he’s now working to bring similar events to his hometown.
As the founder of the art supply subscription service ScrawlrBox, and the owner of 31CoWork, a coworking space in the centre of town, Chris combines a strong knowledge of art with a deep connection to the local community.

Charlie Graham-May
Charlie is a painter and maker of public art. He has installed work in many places across the country, including Chippenham and his birthplace, Temple Cloud.
His paintings capture the connection between written language, sound, colour and abstracted memory that synaesthesiacs, like him, experience. He has worked as a set designer and commercial illustrator, and taught art at both Further and Higher Education level for fifteen years.
Charlie runs the drawing, painting and Life Drawing sessions run by Rag and Bone Arts at the Cause, and is committed to bringing art out from the remoteness of galleries and into the everyday life of the public realm, where it belongs.

Jess Bigwood
Jess has lived in Chippenham for nine years after moving here for work as a teacher; she is currently the Curriculum Leader for Art, Photography and DT at a local secondary school.
Her background in drawing and enthusiasm for visual and public art has led to students getting involved in local exhibitions and competitions as well as trips to see galleries across the country.
Jess is passionate about making Chippenham even more vibrant, celebrating its creativity, supporting young people to make a mark on their town, and keeping it colourful for future generations.
No forgetting the others, who help make these projects possible...
Of course, the trustee's are not the only ones involved in bringing these projects to life. There are many other local residents and business owners who give up their time and energy to help push these projects forward. Using their skills and expertise to help make PAC a success and delivering public art projects across the town. Although not named here, you know who you are and we would like to thank you for all your hard work and support. Together we will bring more creative energy and colour into the town, one wall at a time.
